Statement
The stark and graphic beauty of winter in Canada has been a continuous source of inspiration for me. It is as though nature had divested itself of its garments, exposing its hidden beauty, vulnerable yet motionless, in surrender to the elements. I wish to capture silence and surrender as integral parts of these photographs that aspire less to the condition of sensuous beauty than to that of a restrained zen simplicity.

لقد كان الجمال الشتوي والرسم للشتاء في كندا مصدرًا مستمرًا للإلهام بالنسبة لي.
يبدو الأمر كما لو أن الطبيعة قد استبدلت نفسها من ثيابها ، وفضح جمالها الخفي ،
ضعيفًا بلا حراك ، في الاستسلام للعناصر. أتمنى أن ألتقط الصمت والاستسلام كأجزاء لا تتجزأ من هذه الصور
التي لا تتطلّع إلى حالة الجمال الحسّاس أكثر من تلك التي تتميّز بها بساطة زن.
