As seasons consecutively ensue, it has become evident that there are no limits to what ambition can achieve. A notion conspicuously demonstrated through Dubai’s outstanding and innovative accomplishments in all fields. Therefore, our ceremony to celebrate the fourth season of HIPA and to announce the launch of the fifth season, is indeed an event that surpasses the typical closing and launching ceremonies, as it aims to inspire talented photographers and unleash exceptional creativity in a way that will reveal more extraordinary achievements for the following seasons.
Four years have passed since His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum launched HIPA as an initiative to actively support those dedicated artists and enthusiasts who chose life as their limitless canvas, and the lens as their colorful paintbrush through which they convey the true beauty and power of photography. This initiative aims to inspire creative minds to stimulate their innermost creativity in a way that tackles our thoughts and ignites our sentiments.
Similar to Dubai, HIPA has also achieved international status since its inception. The great quantity of participations is only exceeded by the amazing quality of photographs received both in terms of technicality and aesthetics.
We are delighted to announce that the number of photographs submitted for the 4th season has reached 60,162 with a total of 30,878 participants from 166 different countries around the world
Consequently, the themes of the award have always been in line with the concept of life, reality and the emotions that surround us. With this in mind, and inspired by the humbling yet heartwarming experience the HIPA team had conducting our recent Photography CSR project in Malaysia, we are delighted to announce that the theme of the award’s 5th season will revolve around the universal search for ‘Happiness’.
In closing and on behalf of my colleagues on the Board of Trustees and I, allow me to express our utmost appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum for his endless support of HIPA through his great efforts, wise directions and pioneering vision, ensuring that the future of the Award is indeed full of remarkable accomplishments that we will spare no effort to achieve.

سعادة علي بن ثالث الأمين العام لجائزة حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم الدولي التصوير الفوتوغرافي - HIPA جائزة 4 الموسم حفل "الحياة في اللون" 2014-2015 صاحب السمو الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، ولي عهد دبي، رئيس المجلس التنفيذي أصحاب السمو والمعالي ضيوفنا الكرام السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته كما مواسم تترتب على التوالي، أصبح من الواضح أنه لا توجد حدود لما يمكن تحقيق الطموح. هناك فكرة أثبتت بشكل واضح من خلال الإنجازات دبي المتميزة والمبتكرة في جميع المجالات. لذلك، لدينا حفل للاحتفال الموسم الرابع من HIPA وللإعلان عن إطلاق الموسم الخامس، هو في الواقع حدثا يفوق إغلاق نموذجي والاحتفالات إطلاق، كما تهدف إلى إلهام المصورين الموهوبين وإطلاق العنان للإبداع استثنائي في الطريقة التي سوف كشف تحقيق مزيد من الانجازات الاستثنائية في المواسم التالية. لقد مرت أربع سنوات منذ إطلاق صاحب السمو الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم HIPA كمبادرة لدعم بنشاط هؤلاء الفنانين وهواة المتفانين الذين اختاروا الحياة كما قماش بهم لا حدود لها، والعدسة كما الفرشاة الخاصة الملونة التي من خلالها ينقل الجمال الحقيقي وقوة التصوير الفوتوغرافي. وتهدف هذه المبادرة إلى إلهام العقول المبدعة لتحفيز إبداعاتهم الأعمق في الطريقة التي يعالج أفكارنا ومشاعرنا يشعل. على غرار دبي، حققت HIPA أيضا المكانة الدولية منذ إنشائها. كمية كبيرة من المساهمات يتم تجاوز فقط من خلال نوعية مذهلة من الصور الواردة سواء من حيث تقنية والجماليات. نحن سعداء أن نعلن أن عدد الصور المقدمة لموسم 4 قد وصل 60162 مع ما مجموعه 30878 مشارك من 166 دولة مختلفة حول العالم وبالتالي، فإن موضوعات الجائزة كانت دائما بما يتماشى مع مفهوم الحياة، واقع والمشاعر التي تحيط بنا. مع هذا في الاعتبار، ومستوحاة من تجربة متواضعة حتى الآن الحميم ان الفريق HIPA تجري مشروعنا التصوير مؤخرا CSR في ماليزيا، ونحن سعداء أن نعلن أن موضوع فصل 5 الجائزة ستدور حول البحث العالمي ل 'السعادة'. في الختام وبالنيابة عن زملائي في مجلس الأمناء وI، اسمحوا لي أن أعرب عن تقديرنا البالغ لصاحب السمو الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم على دعمه لانهائي من HIPA من خلال جهوده العظيمة، والتوجيهات الحكيمة والرؤية الرائدة ، وضمان مستقبل جائزة تحفل بالعديد من الإنجازات الرائعة التي لن ندخر أي جهد لتحقيقه.
