جمعية مهرجان الصورة – ذاكرة تطلق مشروع “صورة وحكاية” بالشراكة مع منظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة – اليونيسف بهدف تدريب شبان وشابات من مختلف المناطق على مهارات التصوير، الكتابة وإستعمال وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي.
يهدف “صورة وحكاية” إلى تشجيع الحوار بين المجتمعات المختلفة في بيروت وخارجها من خلال خلق مساحة للتلاقي والتعبير وإكتساب الخبرات في التصوير الصحافي والوثائقي تساعد على نقل صورة وواقع هذه المجتمعات من خلال أعين وأقلام أبنائها اليافعين.
ستون مشاركاً ومشاركة من جنسيات مختلفة (لبنانية، فلسطينية، سورية عراقية وغيرها)، بأعمار تتراوح بين ١٤ و ١٨ عاماً يتوزعون على ثلاث ورش عمل تمتد الواحدة منها فترة ثلاثة أشهر و يتلقون خلالها التدريب على التصوير الفوتوغرافي، كتابة الخبر و استعمال وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي (تويتر، إنساتغرام، و المدونات الالكترونية) لإعداد و نشر قصص مصورة تسلط الضوء على واقع و تحديات المجتمعات اللبنانية و اللجوء المختلفة.
يختتم المشروع بمعرض صور فوتوغرافية و كتاب يحتوي على أفضل القصص المصورة.
Zakira- the Image Festival Association and in partnership with UNICEF has launched its new project “Soura wa Hikaya”, which is Arabic for “A Picture and a Story”. Over the course of nine months, Zakira will work with 60 adolescents between the ages of 14-18 from all over Beirut holding workshops that train them in the basic skills of journalism. These will include photography, reporting, writing and social media.
“Soura wa Hikaya” aims to promote dialogue between Lebanese and various refugees communities, create a platform for self-expression and civic awareness and participation and to provide participants with a valuable skillset.
The youths come from vulnerable communities of Syrian, Lebanese, Iraqi and Palestinian descent and will be encouraged to cover the pressing issues facing the communities of which they are a part. This will provide them with a foundation on which they could develop into roles as community reporters, citizen journalists or professional journalists.
The trainees will create and share their photo stories on various social media platforms raising awareness and providing insight into the challenges and phenomena their communities are experiencing.
“Soura and Hikaya” will culminate in an exhibition and a book showcasing their work.
